We’re proud to announce our Main Stage concert line-up for MarsCon 2016…

Luke Ski 2016 cropped web sizeMusic Guest Of Honor:

As requested by the Con Chair, Jolene Hardy, this year’s Music GoH is none other than the man who through sheer will and obnoxious audacity manifested the MarsCon Dementia Track into existence over a decade ago, the great Luke Ski. He’s “The Dr. Demento Show’s” most requested act of the 21st Century, and he’s won 2 Logan Awards for Oustanding Song Parody. Currently working as a Storyboarder, Writer, and Voice-Over artist at Cartoon Network on “Mighty MagiSwords”, he’s taking time off from Turner to bring his nerdy comedy music back to his favorite convention ever in a 1-hour concert on Saturday afternoon!

Special Event: The LOGAN AWARDS

Whitney Avalon's Logan Award 2014 200The 6th Annual Logan Whitehurst Memorial Awards for Excellence in Comedy Music is a concert and award ceremony celebrating the best in comedy music from the year 2015. Awards will be given out in the categories of Outstanding Parody Song, Outstanding Original Comedy Song, and Outstanding Comedy Music Video. We’ll be showing the videos and performing the songs live on stage, and handing out the three awards to the winners at the end. For details on this year’s jury and nominees, visit the Logan Awards website.

MarsCon 2015 cartoon t-shirt web 1400I’d like to apologize for not getting this year’s MarsCon Dementia Track cartoon t-shirt done any earlier than now. I have been multitasking like crazy for the past month, mostly working on MarsCon-related things. The good news is, it is up for sale now, the bad news is, if you want to have one to wear at MarsCon this year, you’ll need to ORDER IT RIGHT NOW, or at least in the next couple of days (I recommend by February 18th at the latest). Again, I apologize for the delay, and I hope you all will pick up the cartoon shirt, as well as the new color MDT logo t-shirt also available at the Dementia Radio Spreadshirt pageClick here to go to the T-Shirt page for details and to see a larger image of the cartoon.
